Andrew `Mo´ was a colleague and friend, our paths crossed several times over the years. Most recently we both served at Lodge Hill Camp around 2003 for a couple of years. He was a very well respected member of the Clearance Diving brotherhood and a true gentleman to boot! I and many other CDs will recall his dry and quick wit. A kind man, knowledgeable CD and good oppo! RIP Mo, 5 Bells buddy and heartfelt condolences to family and friends alike.

I first met Andrew when we were "baby diver" at Faslane in '77. Our naval careers intertwined for a while. We were Able Seamen divers together on HMS Wilton, then Leading Divers together at Rosyth. Andrew was at Faslane in the early 80s as Chief Petty Officer in charge of the Dive Team. I'd left the Navy to work in the North Sea by then but did a two week stint as a Diver Reservist on the Faslane team. It was great that one of my mates was running it! He was a very thoughtful, competent and well respected leader. Andrew and Judi came to my wedding in 1995. We still have the personalised cushion they gave us and I'll always remember Andy as that fit young bloke with Judi in the wedding picture. I was hoping to get down to Australia in 2026 to visit relatives before getting too old - and popping over to NZ to catch up with Andy & Judi was on that agenda. Heartbroken to hear that "Mo" has gone. Deepest condolences to all the family from Dave Law ( AKA "Dennis"), my wife Alison and daughter Sophie. God bless.
