Andrew COWLES Obituary

COWLES, Andrew Sean
(Ande, Crowbar) -
Passed peacefully at Nurse Maude Hospice on Saturday, February 2, 2013; aged 45 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Paula (McFarlane). Loved son of the late Marion Cowles, son-in-law and friend of Maggie and Dave McFarlane. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Greg and Sue Cowles, James Cowles and Kate Stewart, and brother of Jonathan. Devoted uncle of Nick, Bridget; Ella, and Hannah. Dearly loved nephew of Anne and the late Fred Judd, and Phil Judd and Wendy, cousin of Jeff and Lisa Judd, Deb Chapman, and son of Norman, and loved and respected by the McFarlane, Vickery, and Hurley extended families.
Ande was a talented LBP, photographer, and lover of rally motor sport, friend to many, and always in the right place with the right tool when someone needed help. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Special thanks to the many medical professionals who cared for Ande, especially Dr Mark Jeffery, and Candy at Oncology, Christchurch Hospital, Mary Thompson, and Dr Mark Henley.
A Celebration of Ande's life will be held in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on Thursday, February 7, at 10.00 a.m. Private cremation thereafter for family and close friends.
