Amanda BARNES Obituary

On Saturday, September 13, 2025, peacefully, surrounded by family, aged 48 years. Much loved daughter of Pip and the late Ray, loved sister and sister-in-law of Andy and Fi, adored aunt of Libby and Curtis, loved niece of Uncle C and Flory (Philippines), loved Mumma of her precious fur babies Daisy and Poppy, loved colleague, and friend to many. Grateful thanks to Dr. Raj Kumar, and the staff at St. George's Cancer Care, Dr. Kim Chai, the palliative care team, Sweet Louise, and Jenny and the Cancer Society, for their wraparound support and professionalism. The funeral service in celebration of Amanda's life will be held at Oaklands, corner Halswell Junction and Wigram Roads Halswell, on Thursday, September 18, at 2.30pm. Please wear pink.
