For a few years, starting after my mother's death, Dad, my brother Alan and I moved in with the Comfort family in Martin Ave, Beckenham. Cousin Alison became like a little sister They were good times. They pre-dated Ally's "Merrie Midgets" puppet show which came later and reflected the big hearts, energy and creativeness of Ally and the rest of her family, especially mother Dulcie. My deeoest condolences to Ian, Emily and Jamie.

R.I.P Ally - It took me a long time to get used to the change from Alison to Ally but now it flows off the tongue. Many happy memories from the early days in Wellington. No one will ever match your scone roll.
