Allan JONES Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Allan William Jones at Nurse Maude Hospital following his brave battle on November 30, 2024, aged 79 years. Cherished husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law, friend, mentor and avid adventurer and cyclist. Lovingly missed by his family Suzanne; Nicola, Katrina and Vaughan; Alara, Eleya, Kirah, Lotte and Sophie; Paul, Güngör and Louise; and to the many with whom he shared his life in New Zealand and internationally. Heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nursing staff at Christchurch Hospital Hematology Department. Special gratitude for the dignified and caring support given by the Nurse Maude Hospital team to Allan and his family in his final days. In accordance with Allan's wishes, a private cremation has been held. In lieu of flowers, donations to Nurse Maude would be appreciated and can be made online www.nursemaude.org.nz/donate/.
