Allan BARR Obituary

I was very sad to hear of Allan's death. I have pruned Allan's roses and tidied his garden each year since 2014, and always found him genuine, genial and generous. I was impressed with the way he dealt with the challenges life put his way over these last years of his life. My sympathies to his family.

Allan was a great man. Always helpful and caring. A very practical and straight to the point kind of fella. He'll be greatly missed at the gliding club. My thoughts are with his family. Fly high Allen.

Sorry to hear of Allans Passing. A nice guy who as a real estate salesman put me in my first house. Also knew him through the Aero Club.

For the Barr Families: We are very sad to hear Alan has passed away, our memories go back many years. Alan was our Best Man at our wedding in Wanganui in 1962. Gosh I'm very sorry to see that Allan has passed away. He would always give me a wave from his bike through Ashbury Park or stop for chat if our paths crossed. Always a gentleman.
