Alister David (Ali): QSM
Dearly loved husband and best friend of Jan. Passed away peacefully at home on May 19, 2016, aged 68 years, after a courageous battle with Cancer. Loved father of Carla, Simon and Matthew, and loved and respected stepfather to Jodi, Brad, and the late Lisa. Special grandad to all his grandchildren, and loved Ali to his step-grandchildren. Many thanks to all who have supported, cared, and kept in touch with Ali through this long battle. Messages may be addressed to 'The Eade Family' C/- 19 London

8013. A Memorial Service for Ali will be held on Stewart Island, on Saturday, May 28, at 11.30am, in the Community Centre.
He loved and was loved by many people.

Dearly loved son of the late Matt and Maggie Eade (Otatara, Invercargill), and loved brother of the late Margaret (Fraser) and Stanley. Missed terribly by his sister Dawn Gerken, (Brisbane) and brother Raymond (Auckland). Remembered with such fond memories by his nieces and nephews. Alister was one of a kind – a thinker and innovator. We will all miss his love, acceptance, and humour so much.
R.I.P Alister, you will
never be forgotten.
