Alistair William (Bill):
Passed away at Summerset Retirement Village on Monday, December 11, 2017, aged 88 years. Loved brother of Euan and Betty. A dear friend to many. Messages to the Ritchie family, c/- 19 London Street, Christchurch 8013, or www.heavenaddress.co.nz A funeral service for Bill will be held in the John Rhind Chapel, entry from London and Whitmore Streets, Tomorrow (Friday) December 15 at 1.00pm, followed by interment in the Linwood Cemetery.

It was a great privilege to know Bill as a friend and work colleague for over 30 years. It was so good to catch up with Bill last September in Sydney and more recently by telephone. Bill was a confidant and always encouraged and supported me, particularly in my career. I will miss Bill, but I have some wonderful memories of our friendship.
