Alistair John Williamson:
On August 31, 2022, passed away at home, aged 78 years. Much loved husband of Carol, loved father and father-in-law of Alisdair and Jane, and Fraser, much loved Grandpa of his six grandchildren. at www.diabetes.org.nz. A Celebration of Alistair's life will be held in our Rangiora Chapel, Wai-mana, 92 Kippenberger Avenue, Rangiora, on Wednesday, September 7, at 2.30pm, private cremation thereafter.

A wonderful man who's life was full of extraordinary stories and tales, he achieved so much. Very generous to myself and my wife, memories of the times we spent together will never be forgotten. Condolences to Carol and family.

I remember Alistair from so many years ago, when I was a wee girl in Dunedin. As the golf professional at Balmacewen Golf Club he not only shared a love of golf with my father but was good friends with him over many years, sharing a great sense of humour, a common Scottish identity and so many great times. Sincere condolences to his family. I am so sorry to learn that he has gone.
