A wonderful man who's life was full of extraordinary stories and tales, he achieved so much. Very generous to myself and my wife, memories of the times we spent together will never be forgotten. Condolences to Carol and family.

I remember Alistair from so many years ago, when I was a wee girl in Dunedin. As the golf professional at Balmacewen Golf Club he not only shared a love of golf with my father but was good friends with him over many years, sharing a great sense of humour, a common Scottish identity and so many great times. Sincere condolences to his family. I am so sorry to learn that he has gone.

I had many conversations with Alastair over the years. With him always wanting more golf equipment. I loved his humour and his stories and his knowledge. RIP Alastair from your friend Scotty.
