So sad to hear of Aunty Ruth's passing. Only Just heard. She was a truly beautiful Lady who made a huge difference to me. Both Aunty Ruth and Des were so kind when our Dad was unwell . They visited often and I felt I made a true connection. She so wanted for my sister's and brother to reconnect with our Bell side of the family which sadly didn't happen but knowing her and sharing a love of craft and family stories gave me such comfort and continued connection to Dad. For that I am so grateful. Aunty Ruth made a difference and I truly love her for that. To Denise
And Barry my love goes out to you both and your familys and the Aunty's and cousins that we didn't get to know! Aunty Ruth was truly amazing with a huge heart. I will miss her laugh and beautiful cheeky smile but she is one lady who is in my heart forever! Xx Darielle xc

My deepest condolences to the whole family, here and overseas. I was one of Ruth's many carers for a time there at The Lodge, and made an instant connection. She has such a raw, beautifully radiant and wise soul. Can't forget cheeky! (Had me on that her 'missing leg' was from a shark bite)
She loved her wee Jade stone and admired my macrame net, my brother made for mine. I took it home over night and he did it. She shed a few tears. Ruth then told me, pre stroke, she was artsy and did a lot of macrame, patterns, crocheting, etc. That's one of our best bonding moments.
And of course the fur grand-baby we all cooed over.
Ruth, you're eternalised in my heart and memory.

Hugs and kisses to you, especially, Denise You're such a devoted and loving daughter. Absolutely stoic - like mother, like daughter. (Hope you don't mind the pics).
