Dear Anita, Donna, Logan, and Euan, I was sorry to read of Joy's death. I remember you all living in "the flat" above my parents' (Phyl and Frank Win) house in Khandallah. I last saw Joy in December 1999 when our family, and Mum (Dad died in 1998), were on holiday at Ohope. I drove Mum to Tauranga to visit Joy, and have a lovely photo of the two of them together (attached). They were always good friends, and although they didn't see each other frequently, corresponded regularly. Mum died in 2010, aged 88, and had been living in Nelson. My sister Chris and I are thinking of you all. Regards, Fran Brookbanks.
