We moved into Coleman place in 2000 and almost every day I walked my eldest son Nick to school Mrs Abraham would be either outside and make conversation or she would be in her kitchen waving out her window...it was the highlight of our day as she was such a pleasant and caring lady. XOX to you Liz & family.

How fitting that two old friends died with a month of each other...Judy and Alice. One of Alice's outstanding attributes was that she could relate so well to younger people, which made her so beloved by a younger generation. She was always welcoming and accepting, and interested in a person's life. I loved her sense of humour, which inevitably surfaced in conversation. A caring and kind person, I have lovely memories of her friendship with Mum ( Judy Swain ) and of how pleased she was to see us when we visited. The world has been left a better place because of her life.

Alice was a good friend of my Nana, Anne Smith and I remember spending a lot of time with Alice when she lived in Rolleston. A lovely lady with a wonderful memory. Our thoughts are with you.
