POPE, Alfred Eric:
Passed away peacefully on January 3, 2015, in his 91st year. Dearly loved husband of the late Mary. Loved father of Catherine, Jennifer, Lyn, and Suzanne. Loved Pop of Helen, Marie, Annette and Tony. Much loved Grandpop to all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Special thanks to the staff and his many friends at Ngaio Marsh. A celebration of Alf's life was held recently on his 90th birthday. Alf's ashes will be interred at the Harewood Memorial Gardens at a future date.

POPE, Alfred Eric (Alf):
Another leaf has fallen, another soul has gone,
But still we have God’s promises in every Robin’s song.
For He is in His heaven, and though He takes away,
He always leaves to mortals the bright sun’s kindly ray.
He leaves the fragrant blossoms and lovely forest green,
And gives us new found comfort when we on Him will lean.
Quietly passed away January 3, 2015. The best ever Dad to Jennifer - our shoes eventually connected Dad! A dear Grandpop to Amber and husband Scott, and Alexandria. Loving Great-grandpop, at a distance, to Ruby and Aston in Melbourne. It has been a pleasure to walk your journey beside you. We love you Alfred Eric Pope God bless always!
