Passed away peacefully after a short illness in Greymouth on January 11, 2026, aged 81. Devoted dad and father-in-law of Ashley and Caitlan, Shelley and Grace, Lily, and the late Andrea, dearly loved brother and brother-in-law of Anita (twin) and Garry Houghton, Lindsay and Shona, Lorraine and the late Bob Baxter, Bev and Phil Morgan, and the late Jimmy, Leslie, Steven, and Mary, treasured friend of Cecilia, and a much loved uncle, cousin, and friend of many.
