Alexander William (Alex):
On April 26, 2018, at Summerset Wigram, aged 87 years. Dearly loved and loving husband of Julie, and much loved father and father-in-law of Dennis and Lorna, Sue and Errol, and Robyn and Peter. Much loved grandfather of Emma; Tim, Mike, and Kate; Anna, Matthew, Jeremy, and Nick, and his 11 great-grandchildren. Dearly loved brother of Hazel (Australia) and the late Jim. The Memorial Service for Alex will be held at the Avonhead Baptist Church, 102 Avonhead Road, Christchurch, on Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at 11.00am. Good man and an active Lion Alex was a contributor to his communities and set high standards in every aspect. His Lions club was well served in true spirit of We Serve.

I was so sad to receive the news that Alex had passed away and I send my condolences to all the family. We were so lucky to have had two amazing reunions of ex Honeywellers over the last few months of which Alex was able to attend. Alex amazed me with his amazing memory of names and events from those wonderful days as employees at Honeywell. Unfortunately I am currently in Australia so will not be able to attend the memorial service for Alex but I will be thinking of you all.
