On December 21, 2022, at Christchurch Hospital. Dearly beloved husband of Donella, loved father and father-in-law of Megan and Graeme, and Simon and Taukiri. Loved Grandad of Amy and Ben Stockdale, and Erana and Taika Duff. Special thanks to Nurse Maude for their care and attention to Alex. A Funeral Service for Alex will be held in the Harewood Crematorium Chapel, entrance off Wilkinsons Road, Harewood, Christchurch, This Day (Friday December 23) at 3.30pm.

I did not know Alex well but played golf with him sometimes at Rawhiti. What a nice person he was.
