Albert BROWNLIE Obituary

Emeritus Professor Albert (Bert) Brownlie, former Vice Chancellor of the University of Canterbury. Passed away peacefully on Friday, July 11, 2025, aged 92. Husband of devoted late wife Noelle; beloved father of Siobhan and Clodagh; grandfather of Jerome, Ambrose, Iolanthe, John and Jiya; loved uncle of Anita & remembered by his nephew Franz. A private funeral was held on Tuesday, July 15, at the family home. Thank you to the carers, nurses and other wonderful staff at Parkstone and Parklands Care Homes, Christchurch.
