Thinking of your loss at this time with empathy.
I have the vivid memory of hearing his car screech to a halt at the old maternity hospital so he could attend the birth of my first daughter 35 years ago.
I also worked with him in a nursing capacity when he visited the operating theatres.

Our very sincere and heartfelt condolences to you and your family, Judith.
We knew Alastair for only a short time but he became a good friend, and we shared a lot of fun and memorable times.
Alastair was a driving force within the West Melton community and will be missed by everyone who had the privilege to know him.
Rest in Peace, Alastair.

So sad to read of Dr Wilson's passing. He was our family Doctor from the beginning of 1987 (Wanganui) and it was his quick and decisive diagnosis that meant my pregnancy made it to 34 weeks later in the year. He was a Doctor in the full sense of the vocation. His consultations were not rushed (unlike today) and he always ensured that followup tests happened.
My condolences to the family.

Along with his Dad, Alistair was our family doctor for 4 generations. Great old school values and a very nice guy to go with it. I always valued our friendship and it is so sad to see him pass. Sincere condolences to the family.

Dear Jude and Family,
I was so sorry to hear of Alistair's death on Boxing Day, from Mary Anne. While you will be feeling sad, I hope these last few months have given you all, special times together. My memories of Alistair are from University days, where I remember him as a warm and friendly person, qualities which I am sure he would have had throughout his life. Take care over this time and may you enjoy a warmth of fond memories.
Prayers and comfort over this time.
