On Thursday, June 15, 2023, peacefully at Elms Court Village, aged 82 years. Loved partner of Judith, loved Dad of Andrew and the late Maryanne, loved Grandad Chuff of Nico, Darcy, Malachi, and Joshua, loved brother of Brian and Joyce Stroud, respected friend from Southland Boys High School. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Alastair Stroud, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. As were his wishes, a private service will be held.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of my cousin Alastair, but I have also so many good memories too of our family times in Invercargill and Queenstown. As one of the little cousins I have fond memories of looking up to my big cousins, Brian and Chuffy ( Alastair); I benefited greatly from the toys that they had grown out of (the wee pedal car, and blue trike). I also have fond memories of visiting Alastair when my husband and I came back to New Zealand for a visit. Like my sister Vicki, I treasure the memories of Alastair and Jude's trip to the States. Alastair we will miss you.
