Alastair ABERNETHY Obituary

On August 16, 2024, peacefully at home surrounded by family, aged 87 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Val, much loved father and father-in-law of Ann and Matthew Newton, Jane and Chris Earl, and Carol and George Maxwell, loving Grandad Brucey of Simon and Allie, and Nicholas and Elizabeth; Stuart and Aimee, and Jim and Eve; Hamish, Thomas and Loran, Emma, and Julia, loving Great-Grandad Bruce of Oscar, Max, and Indie; and Adeline, Delilah and Charlie; and Alexander. A service to celebrate Bruce's life will be held in the Cheviot Fire Station, 6 McQueen Road, Cheviot, on Thursday, August 22, at 1.00pm, followed by interment at Homeview Cemetery, Cheviot.
