Alan WILSON Obituary
On January 15 2024, peacefully at Summerset on Cavendish. Dearly loved and cherished husband of Jan for almost 56 years. Treasured father and grandfather of Brent, Rach (dec), Tasha, Shane, Shannon, Troy, and Cameron; Jo, Martin, Fern and Skye Sutton (Nelson). Great-grandfather of Lincoln. Loved eldest son of Graeme and Kath Wilson (both dec). Loved brother of Roger (dec), Sandie and Lindsay (dec) Galbraith (Timaru). Loved brother-in-law of Margaret and Ron (dec) Miles, Clem (dec) and Trish Inwood, Ray and Adrienne (dec) Inwood, Noela and Bill (dec) Scurr, Carol and Neil Harrison. Alan wanted to sincerely thank Steve Delaney and oncology team in Nelson Hospital, Tony Rahman and oncology team at Christchurch Hospital. Finally, but not least the wonderful staff at palliative care in Summerset on Cavendish for their kind-hearted care of him. A private funeral has been held.

To Jan and Family. What a wonderful and spirited man. We will always remember Alan and yourself Jan for making us so welcome when joining in to the Tuesday Walk group when we moved to Nelson. I was at school with Alan and Roger,being in the same class as Roger and travelling with them on the same bus each day.
