Alan Douglas:
On June 20, 2023, passed away at Waikari Hospital, aged 75 years. Much loved father of Brett and Aimee, loved grandad of Paige and Peyton, dearly loved brother and brother-in-law of Murray and Sharon, and loved uncle of Euan and Andy. Sincere thanks to the staff of Waikari Medical Centre and Waikari Hospital for their care of Alan. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Alan Torstonson, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers, donations to Cat Care would be appreciated and may be made online at: catcare.org.nz. A Memorial Service for Alan will be held in our Rangiora Chapel, Wai-mana, 92 Kippenberger Avenue, Rangiora, on Friday, June 30, at 2.30pm.

Well you've played out the penultimate hole in one my friend. May there be Fairweather on your golf course of choice, gentle rain only and the sun shining warmly on your face. Lovely memories of our friendship and your generosity. Sincere condolences to Murray, Sharon, the wider family and your children and grandkids. Rest in peace Alan.
