Alan TILSON Obituary

TILSON, Alan Robert September 13, 1938 – September 30, 2022 It is with deep sadness and heartache that we share with you the passing of our beloved husband and father. Al passed away at Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga, on September 30, 2022, having bravely fought his seven-month battle with cholangiocarcinoma. Al was the loving husband of Ann (nee Painter) for fifty-eight years, and caring father of sons, Scott and Glenn (predeceased, April 2022). Predeceased also by his mother and father, Monica and Andrew Tilson, and his brother John Tilson, Al will be remembered by several nieces, nephews, and many friends. Throughout his life, skiing, hiking, and canoeing provided Al with many happy memories, but photography was Al's great passion, allowing him to enjoy many years as a member of the Mississauga Camera Club. Cremation has taken place, and a private family celebration of Al's life will be held at a later date.
