SMITH, Alan Leonard:
Late of Woodend, peacefully
at Kaiapoi Lodge, on October 8, 2015, surrounded by his favorite daughters, aged 85 years. Loved husband of the late Edna. Dearly loved father and father in-law of Sharon and Stephen Batchelor, and Dianne and Kelvin Kelso. Treasured Pop of Mark and Jane, Neil, and Grant; Michael, Hannah and Andy, Joy and Carl, Lizzy and Isaac. Special thanks to all the staff at Kaiapoi Lodge for their loving care of Alan. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Order of St John would be appreciated and may be made at the service. The Funeral Service for Alan will be held at Northbrook Chapel, Spark Lane (off Northbrook Road), Rangiora, on Tuesday, October 13, at 11.00am.
