Alan PERCY Obituary

It is with great sadness that we are saying goodbye to Alan who peacefully passed away at Christchurch Public Hospital on Wednesday, May 29, 2024. He was the cherished and devoted soulmate of Valerie, his beloved wife of 64 wonderful years. Alan was a dearly loved father and father-in-law to Darryn and Anne, Scott, and Charmaine and Declan. He was also a treasured and adored Grandy to Michael, Jack, Riley, and Wren. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the staff of Ward 17 for the affectionate care they provided to Alan in his final days. Alan was a true gentleman, loved and respected by all who knew him. Messages to the Percy family can be sent c/- Hope Funerals Christchurch, 27 Amyes Road, Hornby, Christchurch 8042. In lieu of flowers, donations to Age Concern would be greatly appreciated by the family. In accordance with Alan's wishes, a private celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
