Dear Mary, you and your family are very much in our thoughts. I remember your lovely long emails very fondly as you shared your earliest memories when you moved to France to be with Alan and then further afield to New Zealand. We wish you comfort in the days ahead.

I am glad Suzanne and I had that time with you and Mary before Christmas. I will remember how much you enjoyed the Christmas party and can still see you up on the floor dancing to the music. That is a good memory. Isy.

I remember as though it was yesterday the much wiser head and Brillcream boy, Alan avising this scrawny soon to be junior Matelot to 'keep me nose clean' also warning me that I would very soon have to start shaving. Surely will be sadly missed. Joe.

Alan, thank you for being my father in law for 8 years and for the memories we have. As I didn't have a Dad at our wedding you very kindly took me under your wing and walked me down the aisle to meet your son. I will always treasure our laughs and memories and may you now Rest In Peace. Lots of love. Sue
