HOLLAND, Alan Dennis:
Alan passed away peacefully in his sleep at Wellington Public Hospital, on April 28, 2023, aged 90, with his family keeping vigil by his side. Formerly of Palmerston North, Papatoetoe and Kumeu, Christchurch and Wellington, New Zealand Post Office Engineer, Amateur Radio Ham ZL1AWL, Beekeeper, Grassroots Alliance Supporter, Camino Pilgrim. Dearly beloved husband of the late Judith Holland, née Grocott, Silent Key ZL1AWM, much cherished father of the late Nigel, of Brigette, Lynn and Robin and the late Derek; father-in-law to Xu Tao, Sigrun, and Danabalan, and kind grandfather of April, Moritz, Johannes, Augusta, Benedict, Katharina, Maximillian and Jacob.

A farewell to Alan will take place in Wellington at Lychgate Funerals, 306 Willis St, corner of Aro Street, on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at 12.00pm (some parking available), followed by a farewell in Auckland on May 6, 2023 at St Chad's Church, Huapai, and an interment at Kumeu Anglican Cemetery, with details to be published later this week.
