GRANT, Alan Graham:
13.11.1947 - 21.2.2023
Alan passed away at Ashburton on February 21, 2023. Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Alison. Loved and respected father of Andrew, and Duncan, admired father-in-law of Tam, and much loved Puppa of Zara and Charley. Loved and admired brother and brother-in-law of Donald (dec), and Judi, Murray and Ruth (Melbourne), and Robyn and David O'Malley (Dunedin). A special uncle to all his nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Alan's life will be held at the Ashburton Event Centre, Wills Street, Ashburton, on Thursday, March 2, commencing at 2.00pm, followed by private cremation at the Ashburton Crematorium. Hello Alison,I was very sorry to hear of Alan´s death and my thoughts have been very much with you and your family- I had heard that he had ill health and can only hope that he did not suffer too much.
I thoroughly enjoyed meeting you on our trip to the Chatham Islands and did try to contact you when down in October.When I come down to visit my daughter,Henrietta I will let you know before I come.
I am not posting this as the mail is not getting through at the moment and know you will receive this .
