So sad to hear of Carey's passing. He and Denyce(nee Pickens) were great members of our families get togethers, with lots of laughs and a bit of wine too. Condolences to the family. Love Marg and Jim Stewart, Cervantes, WA. Australia

Mary and I wish to extend our sincere condolences to the Adamson family, on learning the sad news of Careys passing.
We had followed his stellar career after a year together at the National Defence College, and later served with him and Denyse as Air Attaches in Washington. After retirement Mary and I spent a delightful Christmas with them in Wellington and kept in touch as long as we could. We treasured our friendship with him and Denyse, and our memories of them will always be of them at their best, and there was plenty of that in both.

RIP Carey. I have fond memories of our time together as members of No.34 Pilots Course (1961/62) and also our subsequent trip by car from Christchurch to Auckland to join our first squadron after graduation. You were always destined for great things in the RNZAF and certainly achieved them.

You were a very fine RNZAF officer Carey. Your family and our Air Force family are very much the poorer for your passing but richer for our association with you. Fly free Sir and keep a twinkling eye on us.

Our condolences to Carey's family. Many memories of his wife Denyce when we were children growing up on the Stewart farm at Pakaraka and later of Carey and his family visiting our Grandparents at Cable Bay. We used to listen in awe to his stories from around the world.
RIP Carey. One of life's gentlemen.
