Ailsa LEWIS Obituary

1927 - 2025
Aged 97 (Woodend / Ashley). Passed away peacefully at Waikari Hospital on September 18, 2025. Deeply Loved wife of the late Arthur Lewis (Sefton/Woodend). Daughter of the Late Flossie (nee Smith) and John Alexander Quinn (Woodend). Loved sister of the late Sadie Harris and twin sister of the late Valmai Beal. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Evan and Julia (Nth Queensland), Glenda and Bruce Churchward, and Adrienne and Barry Saunders. Deeply loved Nana to all her grandchildren and Nana-Nana to her great-grandchildren. Ailsa's family are extremely grateful to the Waikari Hospital staff for their dedication and loving care of Ailsa. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to be made to Friends of Waikari Hospital. A service to celebrate Ailsa's life will be held at Northbrook Chapel (Spark Lane), Rangiora on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 11.00am.
