Dear family - `Ma Kendrew´ was, and therefore always will be, one of the huge loving influences in my life, as for many others. I was nurtured and cared for and welcomed. Her love for her family, her absolute faith in God and in the goodness of people, and her strength of conviction, commitment, and character was a model for many as we also all benefitted hugely from. Alan and family, Aileen was truely `salt of the earth´ - I will always remember and cherish how she and you all took me in through a rocky time and allowed me such a space among you all. I have been a better person because of her, and because of you all. Thank you Aileen and family for everything you were to me. Cherished forever.

Aileen is now with her Lord. We'll done thou faithful servant. May God's love surrounded Allan and her family. From Janice.

Cousin Aileen aka Aunty, I was so glad I was able to visit you at your rest home in Chch last May 2025, now Promoted to Glory, reunited again with your Brother Norm. I will remember your joy and kindness and your amazing hugs, especially when my Mum passed lot's of love Leanne, til we meet again
