Sad to hear of Nan's passing. She was a remarkable pianist and conductor, and a wonderful personality, and was an inspiration in bringing together the Christchurch City Choir from the two big choirs the city previously had. Her Composer of the Week programmes for RNZ Concert were excellent - always informative, but thoughtful in bringing out the human side of a particular composer. She was an engaging conversationalist and encouraging to me in my music career. Rest in Peace Nan.

My condolences to Nan's family. Thankyou Nan for your wonderful leadership from Royal Christchurch Musical Society to Christchurch City Choir. I admired you as a conductor and you enthusiasm and happiness inspired many of us. Rest in peace with many of the musical world.

What a great lady of faith and trust in our Lord Jesus Christ! She will always be remembered for her musical ability and sessions on Praise Be as well as numerous lives that she touched. Now is rejoicing in Heaven. Love to all you awesome Andersons. Derek and Diana Blight Hokitika
