Adele HENRY Obituary

Dear Mike and family, So sorry and sad to hear Adele has died. Such a happy vibrant, loving person. I remember the fun tennis matches at your home you were both such wonderful hosts. Unfortunately I was overseas at the time of here Celebration of life but my thoughts and love are with you all.

To Mike and family. So sorry to hear of your loss. I didn't get to meet Adele but she was a distant cousin of mine. Her grandad Mark and my grandad Edward were brothers. We have named one of our sons after Mark. Our very best wishes to you and your family.

My deepest sympathy to Adele's family. I just wanted to to say a big thankyou to Adele for giving my grandchildren such a great start to their education at St Joseph's. I watched over many years the dedication, passion, kindness, patience and wisdom she bestowed on them all. She certainly had the gift of teaching! Thanks for the many laughs over the years, you were such a wonderful woman. May you rest in peace.

Our heartfelt condolences to all of you. Adele taught our sons Jamie & Reagan@ St Josephs & when I passed on the sad news Reagan summed it up by simply saying "She was the best"
Adele will be remembered for being a lovely lady, a gifted teacher & a beautiful soul.

I remember Adele from st Joseph's school she was my teacher and was amazing. I'm so sorry to see she passed away my thoughts are with her family

I'm so sad to hear this news. Mrs Henry, as I'll always remember her, inspired me into teaching. I loved her class and the amazing musical experience we had with her. I always remember her getting me into reading- Charlotte's Web and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, both books I remember her reading to us. It wasn't until I was much older than I appreciated how lucky we were to have a teacher like her in such a small school. A great teacher and lovely lady who will be remembered fondly by so many. My thoughts are with her family and all those who loved her.

Please accept my very deepest sympathy in your sad loss of dear Adele, a beautiful, vivacious, caring & spiritual lady who was so kind to me during my ten years in Rangiora & kept in touch since, you also, Mike. To Mike and family. We were all so sad to learn if Adele's passing. She was a vibrant, gifted,caring and spiritual person who made an indelible positive mark on all those who met her, especially the many hundreds of pupils whom she taught and led in her famous school productions. We enjoyed the meals and coffees we shared with you both and others. RIP.
