MOORE (MATEKUARE), Tom:
(B40389 RNZASC, RNZA, RNZAF, 161 Battery, Vietnam). On March 9, 2017, passed away peacefully at Elmswood Retirement Village, Christchurch. Loved husband of Margaret, loved father of Andrew, and Rowena. Loving grandad of Jaqson, Tiana, Calin, James, and Remii. Messages to the Moore Family, C/-19 London Street, Christchurch 8013. Requiem Mass for Tom will be celebrated at St Mary's Pro Cathedral, 373 Manchester Street, This Day (Tuesday), at 10.00am, Interment to follow in the Kaiapoi Cemetery.

This is my Grandad he was a great man.
Served in the Vietnam war 1961-1975.
he was a Vietnam Driver
Became part of Artillery Unit
his Service numbers is Vietnam B40389.
He was in the Royal New Zealand Army
161 Battery.
He became part of holy cross Catholic parish church in Auckland.
rest peacefully grandad we are going to celebrity Anzac day with you.

9/3/2017 my grandad died he was a great man he serve his time in Vietnam War battling and helping people. He was always loved talk to people and always laugh when he gets Court feeding the cat bacon or leftovers from his plate or leting the cat lick his hokey pokey ice cream off the cone He would ask me every day "how was school?" "What did you do to day?" "How are the cats?" He also looked after me and my brother when we where young. Its good that my little sister got to see him before his hours may he rest peaceful and he will always be in our hearts

Love you dad. Thank you so much for being there for me and the kids and for being the main father figure in Jaqson and Tiana's life. I am so happy you got to meet and spend time with Remii before you passed and I hope you will look over them and watch them grow into adults. They and I will miss you so much. I was never the I love you type unfortunately and I hope you do know that I loved you even when you were grumpy :)

I'm glad you did write in your diary's everyday and kept every one of them because now we all have something that came from you to cherish. Weather it be your weight watchers points of the day or w.o.f reminders or your check your oil Rowena in your car. We will buy you a lotto ticket every Saturday ,Seeing you never missed a weekend. Rest easy dad. We will think of you daily. Love always Rowena, jaqson, Tiana and remii xx
