Margaret Marie
(nee Redwood):
On July 7, 2017, peacefully at Burwood Hospital, aged 73 years. Dearly loved wife of Peter. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Karen and Roger Duncan, Mark and Lindy, Leigh and Gareth Kilsby, Dan and Mel, Mike and Jodie, Tracey and Pete Wright, Nadia and Kevin McGowan, Brigette and Mark Anderson. Dearly loved and amazing Nana of all her grandchildren. Loved daughter of the late Frank and Peggy Redwood (Pelorous Sound), Loved sister and sister-in-law of Josie and Lawrence Bismark, the late Sally and Bevan Lukey, the late Bob Redwood, Charles Redwood, Tony and Joy Redwood, and Pat and Nicky Redwood. Loved sister-in-law and friend of Nola and Larry Mannis, Gail and the late John Harris, Rae and Noel Gorrie and the late Noel Huddleston. Loved by all her nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the North Canterbury Mini Bus Trust would be appreciated and may be made at the service. The Funeral Mass for Marg will be celebrated at the Chervier Centre, 41 Victoria Street, Rangiora, on Friday, July 14, at 11.00am, followed by burial at the Little River Cemetery, Church Road (via Western Valley Road), Little River, at 3.30pm. A Vigil service for Marg will be held at the Chervier Centre, 41 Victoria St, Rangiora, Tomorrow (Thursday), at 6.00pm.

To Peter and family. I will never forget meeting you all in Harihari all those decades ago. While you were coaching Peter, there was Margaret on the sideline with all your beautiful children renowned for their snowy white hair. Nothing seemed to phase her.
