Deepest sympathies to John, Margaret, Helen and families at this time of sadness and loss. Jim was a close friend and shipmate to Dad on the Monowai and HMNZS Achilles. We have fond memories of Jim and Thelma in Albury for many years. We will dearly miss Jim reminiscing the stories of service in the RNZN with Dad at the RSA in Timaru.
Rest in peace Jim.

Our deepest sympathy to the family for your sad loss. I am so pleased I went to see Jim a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed a few laughs about times psst. We reminisced about the many days in the shed at Albury and the nights at Mrs Gibson's. So sorry we will miss the service as we are in Aussie avoiding our winter

Kindest regards

Hugs and prayers for your comfort and peace at this sad time. I like to think of the wonderful reunion on the other side with Thelma and family. Jim served with my Dad Bill Wain who was Chief Stoker on Achilles.
