Emma WARWICK Obituary

WARWICK, Emma Claire:
On May 24, 2021, our brave and beautiful Emma left us all too soon. Emma was a dearly loved daughter of Mike and Claire, sister of Louise and Heath, and granddaughter of Bill and the late June Warwick, and of the late Kathleen Nute. She was a treasured sister-in-law of Terry and Kathryn, and aunty of Jack and Joseph; Arthur and Imogen. A much loved niece, cousin, and a cherished friend of many. She has left a huge hole in our hearts and will also be sadly missed by Buddy and Peanut. Sincere thanks go to the staff of the ICU and the Neurological and surgical teams at Christchurch Hospital, and the staff of the Darfield Medical Centre, for their exceptional care of Emma. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Emma Warwick, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers, donations to the SPCA Canterbury or Women's Refuge in memory of Emma would be appreciated, and may be made at the service, or online at www.spca.nz or www.womensrefuge.org.nz. Emma's service will be held at the Sheffield Community Hall, 14 Railway Terrace East, Sheffield, on Saturday, June 12, at 1.00pm, private interment to follow.

Dear Warwick Family. Our deepest condolences on the loss of Emma. Emma was a great friend and work colleague, and we shared many a conversation ranging from the outdoors to collaboration on complex work initiatives, and of course updates on respective family activities. Emma leaves a gap and will be missed. All the very best. Michael & Rebecca Walker.

Dear Emma

I was shocked and saddened to hear of your passing. Reflecting back on our childhood, I have so many fond memories from our hockey days, play dates, birthday parties, summer fun swimming at the Sheffield pool, winter fun hanging at the Sheffield Pavillion during rugby season with our families, the silly nicknames we had to you coming to visit me when I had my first baby. RIP Emma, you'll be dearly missed and never forgotten. All my love to Mike, Claire, Louise, Heath and families. Xx
