Douglas Gordon John
(Gordon):
On March 29, 2015, dearly loved husband of Madeleine, much loved father of Greg and Adrian, loved and respected father-in-law of Tracy and Natalie, and treasured grandfather of Charlie and William; Molly and Reuben.

Grateful thanks to Dr Brett Mann, Christchurch Hospital Oncology Department, and the lovely people at Nurse Maude Hospice. A Funeral Service for Gordon will be celebrated at Christ The King Church, 90 Greers Rd, Burnside, This Day (Thursday), at 11.00am. Private cremation thereafter.

It is with great sadness that we learn of Gordon's passing. He will be greatly missed from the woodchopping events held throughout the South Island. His presence and help running the events have been invaluable especially on the microphone. We extend our deepest sympathy and condolences to Madeleine and his family.
