Hi Liam, so sorry to hear of your loss. Char was a real fighter and I loved her passion for life and her family. She was very kind to me when I left you guys on your own with your insurance rebuild. I really appreciated her respect for my decision, she went above and beyond. I don't know what happened with your home in the end, but I hope you now have a good roof over your head. You have a beautiful and talented family that you both created, she will live forever in them.

So totally gutted to hear this news, belatedly today. Char and family opened their hearts to ours and showed so much love to Kyan. Although it was only for a short time, Char made such a positive impact. Her kindness, enthusiasm and passion was evident, as was the love she had for her whanau. Our thoughts are with you. Char

All season, we all hoped and prayed that you would get well enough to skate with us.

We were especially lucky to have you and Annabel in Gore with us for our first competition of the season but, unfortunately, you never quite managed to make it onto the ice to skate with us.

Sadly, the battle you were fighting so bravely and courageously is over and there are now a mighty big pair of ice skating boots to be filled.

Thank you for being such a gorgeous, bubbly and super friendly person and I especially thank you for all your words of encouragement.

You will be missed like you wouldn't believe and I hope that you will continue to watch over the team in the seasons to come.
