Our sympathy to you Mitch and family - it was a shock to hear the news - he was one of the first people we met when we moved here 20+ years ago and he became part of the fabric of our life. We enjoyed the conversations on just about everything including a variety of politically incorrect subjects!! He always spoke as a proud Dad about your activities Mitch and loved you. We miss him too - Love Carol, Charley, Conrad, Catherine

My heartfelt condolences to Mitch and the rest of Brians family. I just returned home today from overseas to hear the terrible news of Brians passing. Brian had always been a great friend to our family and we will all miss him greatly. I will especially miss our weekly coffee sessions and always remember what Brian taught me about being a good old kiwi.
Kind regards,

Our sincere condolences go out to Mitch and family. We will miss you Head (our nickname for you because you had such a brilliant brain). We also remember you for your wit, dry sense of humour and the fantastic BBQ,s you cooked for us on many occasions. We will miss our Bourbon and wine get togethers and all our chats that we have had over the years. Much love Steve (Fozy), Lynn (Frosty), Jake & Julia xx

Brian made many trips to our home in Wood-end, never empty handed although it was not expected of him.
We would play 9 holes at Pegasus often, Brian sometimes insisting on a cart and many a new ball was lost in the water.
We shall miss the camaraderie, the impromptu cook-ups and the long involved conversations discussing current events.
Brian was generous to a fault and will be sorely missed.
Condolences to Mitch and the extended family. John & Barb Gebler

My sincere condolences to Mitchell, and Brian's extended family. I had a coffee with Brian frequently over the last couple of years and got to know him well - our last coffee catch up was Friday 7th - Brian was full of beans, and talking of how he was looking forward to heading to the Melbourne Cup with Mitchell in November, and reminiscing about the good old days which he Brian loved to have a good old yarn about. I'll miss our chats.
