I thank Brad for getting me into Ju Jitzu. I will always remember his humour and the first day I started my training with him helping me with my Ju Jitzu techniques as a beginner and finishing with a hard out workout pushing me to keep going even though I wanted to stop. Thank you for being there gone too soon thoughts go out to the family.

Trained with Brad a few times at Motueka Sakuarakan Jiu Jitsu. Only found out about his passing on Friday. Great sense of humour and clearly a skilled fella. He seemed gentle. I was looking forward to rolling with him again. Respect to you Brad,

I trained martial arts with Brad in Motueka and just learned of his passing. My deepest condolences to his family, and I want you all to know how much I respected Brad and enjoyed training with him. He was always generous in sharing his knowledge and skills, and in the all too brief time I've known him he always showed true spirit and humility. I know he'll be missed by many, including all those he trained with.

Gone too soon. Brad was a beautiful, wild, mad creature who radiated so much energy wherever he went. His sense of humour was line crossing and fantastic. A real character. He will be very missed. Arohanui to his family through this time.
