I remember watching New Zealand in England in 1973 and Bevan's back to back centuries 176 & 175. I was only nine and these were the first Test matches I saw.
A gutsy, courageous cricketer. RIP.
Condolences to all the family.

So sorry to hear of Bevan Congdons passing. As a kid he was my favourite cricketer anywhere. I can remember being at Eden Park and taking photos as he and others came off the field. I still have those photos. Great memories. Condolences to family.
